Week Two Games on Tap April 25th
Report to your games at 6:30 and 7:30 tonight at Rose Park. Check the schedule to see when your game starts. Games will last an hour or until a team reacheds 16 points - whichever comes first.
After games, we are all headed to our sponsor bar, McFadden's, for specials on Peroni and Blue Moon - $12 Pitchers and $4 Pints. McFaddens is also serving up $5 burgers and $4 grilled cheese.
The season-long drinking contest begins tonight. For each pitcher of sponsor beer you purchase, you will get a ticket to enter to win gift-certificates to McFaddenson a weekly basis and a chance to go to the BAHAMAS with a plus-one. Make sure to write your team on your tickets and turn them in before our drawing at 10PM tonight.

McFadden's (lower level back bar) (2401 Pennsylvania Ave, NW) is our Dupont postgame destination and is located just a few short blocks away from the park. During League nights, members enjoy the following specials on our sponsor beers, Peroni and Blue Moon, as well as food specials at the bar.

Peroni TIcket Contest Prize- Drink Up!
Each season we reward teams for drinking our sponsor beers, Peroni and Blue Moon. Buy a pitcher of one of those beers, and you will get a ticket on which you write your team name. Place the ticket in the league's bucket for a chance to win weekly gift certificates to the Pour House. At the end of season, we count up all the tickets, and the top four teams in the league (across all divisions) that drink the most pitchers of Peroni and Blue Moon (aka have the most tickets) this season will win a beer trip!

Rose Park (26th and P Street, NW)
Via Metro: Take the Red Line to the Dupont Circle Metro stop. Walk west on P Street, NW until you see the park on your left. Or take the Orange/Blue Line to the Foggy Bottom Metro stop. Walk north then west on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW until you cross over Rock Creek Park then go north to the park. Visit www.wmata.com for more information.

Things to Know on Game Day
On Thursday make sure to check in with a black shirt. Teams playing at 6:30 will be responsible for setting up the courts, and teams playing at 7:30 will be responsible for putting away the equipment.
Be sure to hand your score to a black shirt volunteer at the end of your game and make sure you write your team name on the score card (not your t-shirt color)! Check out our Rules for more details. Standings and Pictures will be updated a each week.
Feel free to contact your League Manager via email with any questions. Become the mayor of DC Bocce - Rose Park by checking in on Foursquare when you arrive for your match, and DC Bocce @ McFadden's when you get to the bar!
Charity
At the end of each season, winning teams from each division are awarded a cash prize to donate to a charity of their choice. We have donated to many local, national and international charities.
